MULTI-POLE RING TECHNOLOGY
For years, the manufacture of multi-pole rings was not feasible in the technical field. For this reason, most motors had many square/arc segment shaped magnets glued onto a round metallic rotor in order to simulate a multi-pole ring. This is, of course, an extremely labor and cost-intensive production stage.
In this sense, the direct manufacture of multi-pole rings is a definite simplification in electric motor manufacture, one with which many costs can be reduced.
Multi-pole rings have better magnetic qualities than radial rings made of the same material. Motors made with multi-pole rings have correspondingly better performance.
